With four decades of experience in the food industry and fast-moving consumer goods, Sahar Company has relied on the expertise of Iranian specialists and the available potential in the country, including youthful manpower, advanced technologies, and rich agricultural resources. Backed by 30 years of active involvement by its founder, Mr. Masoud Toutounchian, in production and industrial sectors, the company established its infrastructure in 1991 and began operations in 1994. Today, with the dedication of its managers and the tireless efforts of its staff, Sahar Food Industries has successfully developed a wide and diverse range of products, including canned goods, jams, pickles, salted products, compotes, cold and hot sauces, honey, and more, all tailored to meet customer demand and various tastes and preferences. Moreover, with the company's expansion and careful planning, we have achieved integrated management, working closely with farmers and suppliers throughout all stages, from seed planting to product manufacturing and distribution.
Today, with the ever-increasing population, changing purchasing behaviors, diverse tastes, and other factors, the opportunity has arisen for our company to establish subsidiary companies under the slogan “From Farm to Home.” This allows us to create a complete supply chain, including production, processing, packaging, and distribution, ensuring the health and timely delivery of our products to consumers.

History
Sahar Food Industries was founded in 1991 on a 6,000 square meter site, with production and storage facilities covering an area of 15,000 square meters, located in Hamedan, Bouali Industrial Zone, 15 kilometers along the Tehran road. Initially focused on producing various food products based on agricultural products (non-meat canned goods), the company began production in 1994 after obtaining an operating license and manufacturing permits for 15 types of products. Over time, with the expansion of the company’s activities, we have been able, with God's grace, to produce 80 types of products in 300 packaging styles across 9 product categories.
Originally established as a private joint-stock company with a team of 20 staff members, Sahar has grown significantly, and today, 1,500 skilled and capable employees work across various departments of the organization.
Exports
In recent years, Sahar has expanded its major export activities to include European countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and Russia, as well as Australia, Canada, Turkmenistan, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Malaysia, Finland, Norway, and Azerbaijan.

Values
Product health and quality are top priorities and core goals at Sahar. We are committed to producing health-oriented products by reducing salt and preservatives. In line with this, we have made strides by eliminating preservatives, lowering salt levels in pickles and relishes, reducing salt in canned tomato paste according to new standards, producing sweet-sour cucumbers, reducing sugar in jams and compotes, and lowering oil content in cold sauces.
Sahar Food Industries is also a pioneer member of the Iranian Organic Association. Through establishing an Agricultural Engineering Unit focused on research and pilot production of organic agricultural products, we have embraced this important goal.
